🧭 Simple-language help

User Guide

This guide explains the main features in everyday language. You can use Read Aloud in the top bar if you prefer to listen.

💡 Best starting habit

Check My Day each morning, capture new reminders immediately, and close the loop by completing, rescheduling, or following up.

1

Create your account

Choose Create account, enter your name and email, choose a strong password, and accept the organizational-use disclaimer. If paid access is turned on, enter the purchase access code sent to your email.

2

Start with My Day

After sign-in, My Day shows open reminders, items due today, overdue items, active shopping lists, and the next actions coming up.

3

Use Quick Add

Type a natural sentence such as 'Remind me tomorrow at 3 pm to call David about the proposal.' The app creates a draft reminder. Review the date and time before relying on it.

4

Create detailed reminders

Open Reminders, choose New reminder, then add a title, category, date/time, priority, recurrence, location or link, and notes. Use notes for useful context, not sensitive secrets.

5

Complete, snooze, edit, or delete

Use Complete when the action is done. Recurring reminders automatically create the next occurrence. Snooze moves the reminder forward one day. Edit changes details. Delete removes it.

6

Build shopping lists

Open Shopping, create a list with a store and optional budget, then add items, quantities, and estimated prices. Mark items Purchased as you shop. Retail prices can change, so verify them at the store.

7

Create a Smart Chain

Choose Smart Chains, select meeting, appointment, trip, birthday, or deadline, enter the main date/time, preview the proposed preparation and follow-up reminders, then create them together.

8

Learn from 500 cases

Open 500 Cases. Filter by category, difficulty, and region. View Only keeps the learning case unchanged. Save As My Plan creates your own editable copy.

9

Edit your saved plan

Open My Plans, choose Edit plan, change the title, objective, situation, action steps, notes, and status. You can also print your plan.

10

Export your information

From Reminders or Account, export reminders as CSV or export open reminders as an iCalendar file that can be imported into many calendar applications.

11

Use Read Aloud

Use Read, Pause, Continue, and Stop at the top of the app. The feature uses your browser's speech engine and automatically skips decorative emojis and icons while reading the meaningful text. Voice Quick Add depends on browser support.

12

Use dark or light mode

Choose Theme in the top bar. The preference is stored in your browser. Both modes use high-contrast text, controls, borders, focus indicators, and button states.

13

Use the mobile bottom bar

On a phone, use My Day, Reminders, Add, Shopping, and More at the bottom of the screen. More gives you Smart Chains, 500 Cases, My Plans, the User Guide, Account, Theme, Read Aloud controls, and Admin tools when you are an administrator.

14

Install DMAC like a mobile app

Open Account and choose Install app. On Android or supported desktop browsers, use the browser install prompt. On iPhone or iPad, open the site in Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. Open DMAC from the new Home Screen icon.

15

Turn on push reminders

Open the installed DMAC app, go to Account, and choose Enable push. Approve notification permission when your device asks. The push server must also have its production VAPID keys configured. Use Test push to confirm delivery.

16

Use DMAC when the network drops

The app caches only its public shell, icons, styles, and offline page. Your private reminders, shopping lists, and plans are deliberately not stored in the service-worker cache. Reconnect to load current private data.

17

Change your password

Open Account, then Change password. The bootstrap administrator is forced to replace the temporary password before using the rest of the app.

18

Administrator tools

Administrators can manage users, edit case-study content through overrides, change public content and feature settings, review configuration readiness, and inspect audit activity.

19

Use reminders safely

This app helps you organize; it does not guarantee delivery of every browser or external notification. Independently verify critical appointments, payments, medical instructions, legal deadlines, travel requirements, and safety tasks.
